Welcome to my Blog!

Hey there! I'm Shannon, a portrait photographer in Southern California. My style is less posed, more candid, and my photos are fun, fresh and bright.  My main goal is make you look beautiful! I'm not one of those studio photographers...I use primarily natural light when at all possible.

My Own Kids

Every once in a while, I post photos of my own little girls.  My youngest finally lost both her upper middle teeth, so I thought it was a perfect time to snap a few photos.  Another reason…they tagged along during a session last week so they were there – I was there – my camera was there – perfect.  Now only if I would have planned it and did something cute with their hair.

Looooove this toothless grin:)

High School Senior Sneak Peek!

The mama of this natural beauty just cried when she saw her daughter’s senior proofs…awe!! Love that reaction.

More to come this week.

Baby Abigail | Sneak Peek

Back from another trip…finished retouching and shipped this session out…have a high school senior session to post…chugging right along…this baby is smiling so hard it hurts!

Allen Family

A family session on a rainy day at the St. Regis.  These were the most polite, smart and talkative little children.  So adorable.

Koki Twins

I love it when I get to see old clients again, especially when they have more babies!  Their first born was one of my all time favorite babies to photograph.  I will never forget Caroline’s little pout.  Now they have two more twin girls!!

I love baby crack!!

Here is Caroline now (on the left), and 3 years ago when she was 9 months (I think).

I’m on Vacation!

Dear clients,

I will be on vacation and out of touch for a week in Maui and will be back on Friday, February 24th. I will return all messages and emails when I return.

Until then…ALOHA!!!

Twins | Joseph & Maliyah

Two very special little babies were born while their very lucky military daddy was able to fly home on emergency leave to see them being born.  I was able to photograph them while he was home.  Such a special session.
