Well, this wedding post is so long overdue. I’ve had tons going on in my life but I must move on and start catching up! Vanessa and Collin got married at a beautiful private ranch in Santa Ynez in July. It was charming and intimate and emotional. Not to mention FUN. Thank you both for allowing me to be there on your wedding day. Enjoy your photos…

Right after the ceremony, this rainbow came out!

Their first dance was hilarious. They did the cutest little Latin booty shaking number:)

Midway through the reception, they busted out with a super fun Argentine Carnival!

Jeff & Stacey | West Hollywood Wedding

Jeff and Stacey had, by far, one of my most favorite weddings to date. Thanks to my bestie, I was introduced to them and put through the most hilarious initial consultation. By hilarious, I mean weirdest questions every asked. But I still wanted their wedding soooo badly. So badly that I was willing to give up a 4th of July holiday for them. Yeah, Jeff and Stacey…that’s how much I love you two. For reals. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for choosing me. It’s clients like you – and your families – that make me love what I do.

They had their wedding at the fabulous London West Hollywood and every detail was planned by Meta at A Lil Wedding Planner. Everything oozed love and style. Down to her 6 carat black diamond wedding ring and his fancy schmancy man ring.

Stacey had the best makeup too thanks to Powder LA.

While I was with the girls, my amazing second shooter Katy was with the boys.

RAWR…Stacey looked so freaking stunning (sorry for the language but I’m very passionate about this). Everything about her on her wedding day screamed Stacey. And she looked just amazing.

And guys, listen up! THIS is how you wear a suit. This is how a man should dress. I’ve said this before and there is nothing better (or sexier) than a man in a perfectly tailored suit.

The reception was on the rooftop of The London and this was the view of downtown. Such a fantastic location.

And of course they had a beautiful, then downright hilarious choreographed first dance. Even the wedding party joined them in the end. So much fun.

And if you still aren’t impressed. Jeff wrote and sang Stacey a song. *sigh*

Baby Brooke

Sweet little brooke was born the day before the 4th of July and was at the ripe old age of 5 days when I took her newborn photos. Little miss Brooke was alert as alert can be that day, and already lost her belly button. Crazy! She’s just going to advance herself right through life this little one.

Loved this hip belly session! Lisa knew exactly the colors and tones she wanted in her session, and wanted it modern. Her being a self-proclaimed diva even had her hair and makeup done and everything. She is for sure glowing. Aside being blocked out of most of the Walk Disney Concert Hall because of a wedding, and then later kicked out of an area – because of the same wedding – the session turned out great!

He works in downtown so getting some of the skyline and tall buildings is cool.

Because it’s her birthday today, I thought I’d try my hardest to get her family post up on the blog. Alisa and Ed, it was so glad to meet you – to play Words with Friends with (even though I’m a super slacker these days) – and to follow your lovely family on Facebook. Enjoy!

Jared is such a sweet older brother. The only way to get him and Shelby together was for him to literally tackle her down and hold her. She is ON.THE.GO that little one.

Jamie & Quinton | Laguna Beach Wedding

Jamie and Quinton had one of the sweetest weddings I’ve ever photographed. Their family and friends flew into Laguna Beach from Australia and Nebraska (and some drove from LA) for this little destination wedding. They were also probably the nicest clients we’ve ever worked with, not to mention they both look like models. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart for picking me for your intimate wedding. And I must mention that the day ran smooth thanks to Maria Lindsay Weddings. She takes control of everything and makes the entire day just fabulous.

Jamie’s Dad handmade this wood ring box! Can you believe it? It’s gorgeous.

The simple ceremony was at Crescent Bay Park in Laguna Beach, overlooking the water. Breathtaking.

There are sure to be laughs when Don Johnson is officiating the ceremony.

Just before the reception the sun already went down and we had to RUN out to the beach for whatever light was left. The beach was the most important part of photos for them and I’m so glad they were sports about getting wet.
