Hooray! One of my images was selected for the Valentine’s issue of Tot Trends Weekly Magazine. This is my fourth cover and it still makes me giddy when the editor even considers one my images, let alone picks one! Here are Alexis and Ava from last year’s Valentine’s Day mini sessions. Aren’t they just adorable? And perfectly styled I must say. Mom has some seriously good taste.

**UPDATE** It’s Monday morning and my email is back up! Hooray!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be leaving today on a much needed vacation – I will be gone now through Saturday, November 14th. I’m guessing I won’t have Internet access or access to my calendar so I will return all calls & emails when I return. I promise.

But first I need to shoot the wedding of these two gorgeous people today in Palm Desert.

Then I need to race to a 1am flight to catch this boat before it leaves dock.

My kids are already on an airplane as we speak with my parents – in First Class – spoiled brats.

And this is our balcony suite that will adjoin to my parents and kids room:) Our number one goal will be to minimize little people going overboard.

And then most importantly…these are a couple of the places we’ll be. I’ll be passed out on the sand, hopefully healthy & breathing by then.

Yipee! I’m proud to share that Tot Trends Weekly has selected another one of my images for this week’s Halloween cover! Working with Tot Trends Weekly is so fun and the Editor over there works tirelessly to bring fresh ideas and discounts on hot stuff for babies & kids. And since my Halloween Mini Sessions are one of my favorites I do all year, I’m thrilled:)

Here is Nathaniel’s first cover! I know his sweet parents are proud. And probably the funniest thing about this image being picked is Nathaniel was SO not happy this day didn’t want to take Halloween photos! Ha ha ha. But he let out a tiny little grin here.

Yeah! My recent San Diego wedding with Christy & Kirk is featured as a Real Wedding on Style Me Pretty . I’m so excited! This adorable couple had a whopping 8 people in attendance (including themselves) and went all out on gorgeous details to make their wedding a chic, sophisticated, beach, Nantucket-themed wedding. The wedding was styled by the awesome Karen Tran and coordinated by Emily Smiley.

For all of you that don’t already know Style Me Pretty, you will love the site! They have hundreds of great ideas to share with brides. They search the most fabulous details and fresh ideas out there, not to mention they have some of the best wedding vendors mentioned. I’m so honored.

Another Tot Trends Weekly Cover!

Woot woot! I’m so tickled that another one of my images was selected for the cover of Tot Trends Weekly. It’s such a popular little magazine and you should for sure check it out if you haven’t already.

This was Glenda 9 days before she gave birth to baby Zachary! She was tired as hell but pulled it together like a champ for the photos:) Lucky ducks those Bakers, this is the 2nd cover they got as Isaac was on the cover last year.

I’m so excited that after a couple years of checking out Tot Trends Weekly Magazine, one of my favorite images of one of my favorite clients was chosen for the cover the latest issue! How awesome is this going to look framed in his room? This is such a cute, informative, easy to read magazine for Moms.

This photo was taken back in March for his 4 year session. I’ve been photographing him since he was one! I’ll be posting his sister’s 2 year session next! What timing, huh?

Busy Busy Bee

What can I say? I’ve been super busy, trying to catch up on editing, cleaning house, photo sessions, getting a root canal that has spanned over two visits to the endodontist, a round of nitrous oxide that gave me crazy hallucinations and ended with me puking my brains out all over the dentist office, then two days of sedatives…one sore mouth…and one finished root canal…finally! Whew. I’m tired. Literally.

My parents and sister are coming into town tomorrow for 3 days. Yippee!

In the meantime, here is a teaser from my session on Sunday:) I just love how kids look at anything you tell them to!
