Oh how I want to steal this kid and take her home with me and love on her.  Not literally of course but almost.  I’m so lucky that I’ve photographed her parents since their wedding, and her since she was an itty bitty newborn.  Words can’t express how lucky I really feel that I get the chance to photograph them yearly:)  Get ready grandparents…

*sigh*

They are two of the cutest kids I know!  Really.  Bella knows it.  Raymond is a bit more humble.  These photos were actually taken at the end of January for Valentine’s Day.  Hence all the hearts.  We love Raymond’s shirt.

I wanted to get some cute, affectionate photos of them as a family.  They kept cracking up at my requests.  Chickens.

Lizette has been quite the funny woman lately too.  Begging to see a sneak peek of their session.  Pleading every which way that might nibble into my conscious.  Telling her things like I need to floss my teeth, watch the green grass grow, or that it wasn’t their turn didn’t seem to go over very well.  I’m assuming she used the same tactics to get that giant rock on her finger too.  Remy, I know you must sit back and laugh.  Or maybe you sit back and torture her since it’s sooo easy.

This location was perfect, minus the bugs and poop we were all laying in.

And because I like to photograph babies crying.  Seriously, you have to love their mohawks.  And baby Vans.

We tried so hard to get them together looking at the camera but little Lucas just couldn’t hold that big ole head of his up.

So Drew decided to gloat in his achievement – proud that he’s stronger than his brother.

While Lucas just relaxed.  I say relaxed, but he was actually cranky because he wanted to sleep.

So he went to sleep and we finally got the boys together!  And I loooooooove this photo!!

After taking turns napping and eating and napping and eating, they were both awake, content and dressed in their Halloween costumes.  Ooh ooh aah aah.

Is now 2 years old?  Wow.  To this day, that image of Otis is still one of my all-time favorites.  It sounds cliche, but I really am honored when clients call me each year to update their photos.  There are a million great photographers out there and I’m touched:)

Well he’s all big, and independent, and running away from me and his parents frantically trying to “park” all his cars and toys and lawnmowers in a row.  Those blonde curls are just awesome.

Here he has the SAME  look as on the couch above as a baby.

Well Otis is also a big brother now!  His parents wasted no time in making sweet, adorable, red-headed Ginger!  They honestly pick the coolest names for their children.

I think she’s a spitting image of Mommy.

Okay, I love this.  Ginger is wearing the dress that Rebecca wore on her 1st birthday as a baby.  Can you believe it’s in this good condition and fits her?  Just precious.

And the matching bonnet…kill me now.

And we recreated almost the exact photo of Otis up in the air from last year.

I can only envision this household ten years from now when hormones start multiplying under their roof.  As it was, Madi gets hurt and cuts her knee the minute they arrived, then Kaitlyn wasn’t thrilled with all the touching involved in group photos.  Lily…sweet Lily, is the best big sister and just rolls with it.   Aah, life with kids.

And I just love this one of the girls.  It’s like the three bears.  Small, big and juuuuuuust right.

Shelby turned 5 and Gaby turned 1, so they needed a little session to freeze their ages in time.  We went to a little park around the corner from their house.  It was perfect.  These sisters adore each other.

What a big girl Shelby has grown into.

And Gaby stood up like a big girl too!  Not for long…she’s a bit  of a lazy one:)  Why stand when you can sit?
