At the end of October, I got to see a previous client, her gorgeous son Jonah (who I’ve photographed before), I met her husband for the first time, and photographed her belly that’s holding her soon-to-be daughter Paloma! Whew. We had a blast cruising around downtown Fullerton. Jonah was a total ham and flirting all day. Erika has the cutest, most perfect belly. Erika, if you’re reading this…have a great delivery (well as great as a delivery can go) and hope to see you all soon!

Wow, where do I even begin?

I’ve been MIA for so many months now, so to start posting on my blog again is a little weird. To say the life has thrown me a few curve balls would be an understatement. I’ve had so many of the major stressors in life happen in a short amount of time that I literally broke down. Maybe I’ll explain in a separate post. In my work absence, I’ve learned a lot about patience, love, pain, understanding, non-judgement and forgiveness. And hope.

I’m slowly building myself and my business back up. I have many many many sessions to share, and since I don’t know where to start, I might as well start with my latest session that I just finished editing. Meet the gorgeous Diana, her belly, and her equally gorgeous family. She recently had her baby in the last week or so, so this session is a couple months old.

Loved this hip belly session! Lisa knew exactly the colors and tones she wanted in her session, and wanted it modern. Her being a self-proclaimed diva even had her hair and makeup done and everything. She is for sure glowing. Aside being blocked out of most of the Walk Disney Concert Hall because of a wedding, and then later kicked out of an area – because of the same wedding – the session turned out great!

He works in downtown so getting some of the skyline and tall buildings is cool.

Okay, here is a session that no matter how much I try to explain how much I loved it, it won’t be enough. It’s my perfect session. A perfectly styled client, who knew exactly what she wanted for the shoot. The weather – sunny and bright – the way I like it. And the location – literally down the street from my house. Not a bad commute to work. And a couple so in love it makes you giddy to watch.

Looooooove this one! It makes me want to get pregnant again. Almost.

How cute are they?

Their little girl will FOR SURE have knockout eyes.

I’m amazed I still have blog readers after my long absence. Here is one of my favorite belly sessions from February! I could have photographed Monica all day long. She’s so classy and pretty and sexy and perfect. And daddy was very involved which is not always the case for belly photos. 2010 has been a great year with stylish clients. I love what Monica wore the entire session – even when she was wearing hardly anything at all.

Ladies…this man can play the guitar! As soon as he started, his baby girl started moving in her belly.

Linda’s Belly & Family

This blog will be caught up I swear! Linda has already had baby Oliva since this session was taken before Christmas. The Kim family has been a client of mine since Natalie was a few months old. Look how big she is now! Linda is so gorgeous and stylish and I love her to pieces. And this family is f.u.n.n.y.

The best part of belly photos is involving your kids.

Natalie was actually reaching up to pull her mommy’s shirt down in this one. She didn’t like all the attention the belly was getting:)

So Natalie decided to take a coffee break.

December and January are my favorite times of the year for trees. The yellow leaves before they fall are just so pretty.

Kim & Vince are having a baby! Literally. Like soon. As we speak, my BFF’s sister is dilated (minimally) and lost her mucus plug (I know, gross) and will be popping out baby Bentley soon. So I had to hurry up and post these gorgeous photos we did in Manhattan Beach before she forgets what her belly looks like. I can honestly say I feel old. I’m over the freaking out phase when I was remembering Kim as a kid with blonde hair, then with braces, then as a gorgeous teen, and now. *sigh* Where has the time gone? Kim, good luck with labor. Whatever anyone tells you…take the drugs!

Blair Family & Jamie’s Belly

Here’s a session from November believe it or not! Jamie is actually about to give birth in the next week or so so if I catch up in time, I might post the baby’s newborn session when the baby is still a newborn:) I laughed my way through this entire session. Partly because I’ve known Jamie for over 6 years now, and partly because her husband is pure comedy. I would never tell him that to his face for fear that his ego might grow even bigger. But it’s true. Enjoy this cute, happy family. You’ll notice all the giggles in their photos.
