My old high school friend and SDSU dorm roommate, Lynn, had her second baby - a handsome little boy named John – named after her late father – and I got to photograph her family again! Such a sweet tribute to him. I spent the day in Hermosa Beach and tried to get a few pics to announce his arrival. I also got to spend some time with his big sister Lauren. Her and I spent some time exploring just the two us – without her mom and dad.

Brooke is a session from January that never made it to the blog. She’s was 6 months here and I’m about to shoot her big one year session later this month. She’s super pretty and calm and just a little dream to photograph. Her Mommy is also quite the stylist. There is no shortage of cute tutus, headbands, flowers and props. I met them at their house for the majority of her session to get the last bits of baby nakedness, then we ventured to a local park.

I added some texture to the first two. I don’t know why. Something about her style and the pearls made me do it.

Little Bentley

As I’m sitting here processing orders, I realized I never posted Benley’s 6 month session from last Summer. I’d like to refer to late Summer/early Fall of 2010 until the beginning of 2011 as “The Great Shutdown”. My blog posts were less than par, if not completely non-existent. Those of you that know me, or were a client during that time…will totally understand. If I can’t throw myself under the bus on my own blog, then where can I do it? Ha ha ha.

But since he’s such a good looking little guy, it’s better that I share him late instead of never. His dark hair and light eyes will for sure have the ladies swooning when he’s older.

Meet handsome baby Greyson Brady!

Who happens to be MY NEPHEW!

That’s right. There is a boy in the family finally. A bouncing little snips and snails and puppy dog tails baby boy. He is 27 days old here. But since he wasn’t officially due until June 21st, I’d like to consider him negative -16 days old. Kidding. Regardless, he came 6 weeks early and spent the first two weeks of his life in the NICU:( Can you imagine, going home without your baby. Ugh.

They told me he sleeps all day, which is exactly what he did. He is so sweet. He looks JUST like his big sister Hailey did when she was a babe. Yes, I said babe. And his little sounds are so, ummmm, yummy. This baby almost makes me want to have another baby. Any takers for a baby daddy?

Kidding again.

And meet his gorgeous big sister Hailey. I swear she loves him. She just didn’t love me taking photos this day. But I swear my niece loves me too. She had so many other things she’d rather be doing. Like playing with my girls.

Speaking of my girls. My oldest Cameron is a good little mommy and begs for a baby sister or brother. My other girl Taylor is on the right. Just FYI. In case you were wondering.

We ended the day at the beach. In the water. And the sand.

Baby Jamison

Meet adorable, handsome, totally falling in love worthy, Jamison! When I first met this family, the love they felt for each other, and this little baby boy was so obvious. Sometimes you just feel love in a home. I felt the love here. The way they look at Jamison, the way they talk to him, about him…100% adoration and love. Thank you for having me in your home to photograph your baby and family. I fell for this little guy. He’s got something unique about his look and his sweet temperament that just won me over:)

Baby Brooke

Sweet little brooke was born the day before the 4th of July and was at the ripe old age of 5 days when I took her newborn photos. Little miss Brooke was alert as alert can be that day, and already lost her belly button. Crazy! She’s just going to advance herself right through life this little one.

Baby Kendall

It’s a girl…finally! Okay, not finally as in it took forever – but finally as in they already have two boys and now they got Kendall. And if you know Missy at all, she needed a girl. She’s gorgeous herself, always perfectly stylish and put together. She needed pink in her life:) And 13 day old Kendall is just perfect and so pretty. My only complaint is that she would.not.go.to.sleep during our session. She didn’t want to miss any of the action I guess. Congratulations Missy and Brent, she’s lovely.

I played with a texture on a couple of these. Love how it turned out.

Closing your eyes for 1 minute does not count as sleeping:)

Two handsome proud big brothers. I already joked that it took over 50 frames to catch one sweet photo of the three of them. Soooooo worth it!
