I’ve been dying over here waiting to post this engagement session. This is one cool couple getting married this November. I arrived to them casually hanging out and drinking champagne. My kind of people. And they even offered me a glass. Even better. Since Emily has two kids, and since they are already a family, half their session was dedicated to getting family portraits. We started off with the kids and made them smile by torturing their delicate little egos.
They live in a gorgeous house in Hermosa Beach. This is their castle door. One of my favorite things about them is how they all pile on top of each other. And someone is always sitting on Emily.
The kids can stand their own in the looks department.
When the kids got cranky, we walked down to the beach for some alone time. These two are ridiculously cute together. To say that they were easy to photograph is an understatement. I’m so lucky that they found each other, which means they are getting married, which means they picked me for their wedding photographer, thanks to Emily’s best friend Tricia, who is married to Brady’s brother and also works with my sister-in-law. Did you follow that?
They are having a photo booth at their wedding so they wanted to practice. They are quite the goofy and silly couple. If I could only share all the photos from this day…
I wanted to steal this orange chair. It would be perfect in my house.
