Baby Jacob

I loved this session.  Partly because before she booked this session, I found out Cindy had been following my blog for over a year!  Partly because they are the nicest, sweetest, loving little family.  And partly because they wanted Jacob’s baby photos to be in nature.  Awesome.  Most parents (you know who you are) are a tad scared to take their babies outside.  It might be too bright, or too cold, or too anything.  I have to say, it was beautiful and natural.

Almost as if somebody left him here by the water…

Mommy and me.  She gave lots of kisses and snuggles.   Just what mommies are for.

I always call this shot the baby headshot.

Another great thing about being outside is the light was so soft and beautiful on the skin.
My favorite family shot.

And these flowers were so perfect they looked fake. Do you think we’re accomplishing the whole nature thing yet?  Yes, I think so.

And Daddy staring at his sleeping son with so much love is really moving.  Moments like this make me realize some couples deserve to bring children into this world.  This is one of those couples. This is one lucky boy.

February 23, 2009 - 1:48 pm Tira J - Wow Shannon! These are fabulous. And he did not seem to mind being outside in the elements. One of my little clients is the same way. He hates to have his pictures taken inside and once we are outside, he is a dream to work with. Have a great day!

February 23, 2009 - 4:20 pm parkster7831 - Cindy was raving how awesome her photo shoot was on her Facebook and after seeing them I am impressed. :)

Shannon, you not only took Cindy and Paul's baby boys pic but also another friend of mine (Linda and Danny's daughter, Natalie). :) I have a 2 month baby boy and I would be interested in discussing a photo shoot as well. Could you email me your pricing and availability @ parkster7831@gmail.com? Thanks.
