Jessica and Tim contacted me earlier this month wanting “to re-take our wedding portraits, they had turned out terrible!!” They wanted some sort of wedding photos to replace whatever their photographer didn’t get on their wedding day – which was 3 months ago. And they wanted them at the beach.
So Jessica and Tim are Russian and in their church, there is no wedding party, you don’t hold flowers, the men wear this shirt that ties at the waist with a rope, and the wedding dress has long sleeves and goes waaaaaaaay up to your neck! She was telling me this over the phone and I was like “okaaay”. But she promised me the dress was still pretty! The brides actually get the dresses custom made because only a couple dress makers make cute dresses that are that conservative. Crazy!
I need to thank the Korneff family, for if they never hired me to do their family photos, Jessica’s Mom would have never suggested me for their new wedding photos!
You can really see Tim’s shirt in this one. I love the old processing on this. It seems to match the traditional feel of their religion.

Since she took off the big dress and stripped down to a slinky dress, I wanted the opposite…sexy beach photos!
