So, my sister-in-law Alison, goes to the hospital a few days ago for kidney stones. The pain from that put her into labor yesterday and she decided to push that baby out 5 WEEKS EARLY! The ironic thing about this whole situation, is Alison is sort of a planner. I mean, she must have everything planned. Well in advance. Ha! Hailey is already showing them who’s boss.
Despite being born early, baby Hailey was 6 lbs, 9 oz, and 19 inches. Good God. She would have delivered a tank if she waited! Little Hailey is healthy, functioning, developed, and ready to go home. And so is Ali.
However, since she decided to skip out on the last month of pregnancy, I never got to finish her belly photos, and the progression from little tummy to big tummy. Boo. But, we were lucky enough to meet Hailey when she was 16 hours old! She is just perfect.
Alison swore her head did NOT feel like the size of an apple coming out:)
Matt is going to be such a wonderful father. He’s so amazing with my girls, and he already holds Hailey like he was born to do it.
