I pick Cameron up from school today…
Me: What’s that?
Cameron: It’s a cross, Mommy. To remind me of Jesus.
And she wanted me to take “twenty” photos of her to show everyone.

- Shannon, glad I could give you a good laugh! I am with you on that one. Its amazing the simple yet strong faith most children naturally have. My daughter sends a powerful message to me all the time with her simple faith. Thank you for your awesome encourging comment on our recent birth shoot. Now that is something (like weddings) that I will never get tired of shooting. Photographing the very moment of new life is AMAZING and humbling.
Keep going...your doing amazing stuff with your gift!
February 8, 2008 - 1:40 pm - that's awesome! i love to see the faith in the little one's. you're doin right by her! many many blessings to you and yours! God Bless and have an awesome weekend shannon!!
February 11, 2008 - 11:06 pm - How adorable is she????!!! The beauty of children is their heart and their faith. Where are the other 19 pics?? :)
February 11, 2008 - 11:28 pm - I love it. We missed our ashes on Wednesday last week because Isaac and Belle were sick (again). But Cameron's stunning photo reminded me that we don't have to attend church to have faith and love for God and His Son. Thank you...
February 13, 2008 - 3:13 am - Hi! Found you via Crissy's blog. Your little one is too funny. My daughter has a thing w/ numbers, too. The other day she asked me if I could pack 16 pretzel sticks in her lunch. 16, huh? Oh, aaaand the other day was the 100th day of school! You can imagine how many time we counted to 100 and made up addition equations to equal 100... and I can't even laugh at her - just ask Crissy about her "get real" face :)
February 14, 2008 - 3:50 am - Yes! What is the obsession with numbers? No joke, she just pulled out the 100 thing tonight. Thanks for stopping by and introducing yourself!
