Tisha contacted me to take a generation photo of the women in her family for her Grandmother’s 85th birthday! How great is that? I would give anything to have this photo of my family before my Grandma died last year.
Of course the session was planned the only day this week with 60 mph winds howling every which way. Because if the ugly winds, most of the photos were taken inside at her Mom’s house. I’m not a huge fan of indoor photos, but it gave it a nice traditional feel that Grandma will probably like better anyway.
We braved the elements and went outside. No joke, every other photo has hair blowing everywhere, straight in the air, across the face, in the mouth…everywhere!
And the girls were so precious and good for me. Courtney was such a good big sister, and little Emily was such a trooper in the chilly wind.
Okay, this is Grandma’s house (Tisha’s Mom). Seriously. The girls have the coolest princess room ever. She wins Grandma of the Year in my book. These girls have the prettiest, milky white skin and big blue eyes…

Lastly, we tried outside one more time and waited for the least amount of wind for a family shot for Tisha. Minnie Mouse even made a special appearance:)
Tisha, I hope you love them and I wish I could have stopped the wind. You have a beautiful family and hope Grandma has a great birthday! And thank you Glenda for another nice referral!
