Wedding at The Hacienda

Meet Mike & Melissa Mann…who had one of the funnest weddings I’ve ever photographed! And a big thanks to the talented Julie Weaver who asked me to shoot this wedding with her!

Their wedding was at the beautiful Hacienda in Santa Ana. Not only was the venue incredible, but the entertainment was insane! Here are some of my favorites from the day…I tried to narrow them down, but just couldn’t!






Melissa was such a gorgeous bride. Mike kept saying how hot she was! So cute.



I had to throw in some of the cute little munchkins.

And the ceremony begins! Melissa and her Dad walking down the aisle.

The Hacienda is so beautiful inside. It has all these rustic rooms lit up with white lights.



Finally…a proper cake in a stunning location! If I see one more cake put in front of a window next to some out-dated drapes, I will shoot myself!

I don’t care what your budget is, you HAVE to book Peter Merry from Merry Weddings as your “Wedding Entertainment Director”…he is MUCH more than a DJ! Not only does he have the best music and had the entire reception on the dance floor, but he had the place rolling during the bridal party entrance and all the other scheduled events. He incorporates comedy, music, audio clips and movie sound bites in his bridal party introductions and the bride and groom gave him funny stories. The groom gave him saved voicemails left by Melissa that were HYSTERICAL. Here they are all sweet and happy walking in to their love story and how he proposed…


Then the voicemails start playing…she is dying here!


The first dance. He even recorded reasons why they love each other and were thankful to have each other, and then played it in the background of their first dance song . Not a dry eye in the house.
