Baby Jack

The older we get, the less we see our childhood friends. That is the case with one of my good friends from high school, Chrissy. We see each other at weddings and showers and birthday parties. So when I went to her new house to take photos of her 6 month old baby Jack, it was like riding a bike again. It was fun. The sarcasm just picked up where it left off. If only she didn’t live so darn far!

Anyway, Jack has got to be one of the cutest little baby boys EVER. He’s a great mix of Jeff and Chrissy, best told through his eyes…big from Jeff, blue from Chrissy. Since we’re old friends, of course I stayed long, and of course I took a ton of photos, and of course I couldn’t narrow my favorites down…

This is part of my crusade to take photos of Mommy with baby…since we are ALWAYS the ones taking the photos and are NEVER in them!



It was pretty hot outside, so we ventured inside for some nice, soft naked portraits!

I’m such a sucker for feet, and hands and ears…they never seem quite as cute when they are older.

My favorite part of this one is the dog in the background!



I shot this through the crib! I love it.

The end of Jack’s modeling debut. He didn’t exactly love it. Had one minor injury. Didn’t like sitting on grass (just like his Daddy). Hated the wardrobe changes. But he’s happy when he’s in his crib holding his favorite blankie.
