I think the hardest thing for couples to pick for the engagement session is where to take the pictures! Except for Gino and Teresa. They knew they wanted theirs at Forest Falls, in the mountains on the way to Big Bear. Gino used to live up there and it holds a special place in his heart I suppose. In a very manly, non-cheesy way.
Gino is a cousin of one of my past grooms. Gino was attending the wedding, saw me laying on ground taking photos down the aisle during the ceremony, and basically booked me on spot saying he’s never seen a photographer lay on the ground! They are going to have a very cool, hip and non-traditional wedding this June. To give you a hint, the groomsmen will be wearing zoot suits!
It was a short hike up to the waterfall, but it was beautiful. Poor Teresa was sick as a dog and still was a trooper. In between breaths. I usually shoot mostly with my telephoto lens, but I was trying to take in the tall trees and all the big scenery! 
One of my favorites from the day!
I love this one too. I was high on a rock far away from them taking this shot.
