Last Sunday I did Joe and Jamie’s engagment session at Descanso Gardens. It was a beautiful day and perfect time of year when all the leaves are turning colors! If you’ve never been there before, there are so many nooks and crannies with different flora and fauna. Joe works events there, so he knew exactly where to take us.
Joe and Jamie are such a sweet, mellow couple. Every engagement session (and wedding) is different and has it’s own vibe. They didn’t really want too many traditional posed photos, so I tried to reflect them and their affection for each other. I’m very excited for their wedding in June at Padua Hills in Claremont…right up the street from my in-laws!
Look at this tree! If you look hard enough, you might see Jamie and Joe!
I thought it was so cute when Jamie kicked up her leg during this kiss. 
Notice the many faces of Joe in these photos. He has like 10 different smiles. I love it! It will be fun to shoot their wedding and see which one he picks! Jamie, you look so pretty in all of them.
