Time To Reflect

It’s Friday. And here I am. Sitting in my home office looking at the letters “DREAM” above the double doors. Reflecting on how I got to where I am today. Still sitting. Thinking about my present work situation – my division of Boeing is shutting down and I will no longer have a full-time job in Marketing as of December. And wondering about my future – will my photography business grow enough to support me next year? I guess only time will tell. Maybe my husband is on to something…I should change it to say “KEEP DREAMING”. Nah.

Okay, back to reality. Back to editing pictures. Back to searching for a job…just in case. Unless anybody out there has a better idea????

We never regret the things we did as much as the things we NEVER TRIED.

Go for it!!!

Found your blog and website through a link on Liana's blog which I read too ;-)
I was at PartnerCon too but didn't meet anyone new from my area at that time, only after... online. I'm in San Dimas.
I had a similar situation with my 'secure job' some months ago but I lost it abruptly and I had nothing in view. I realize now it was a blessing in disguise because not being in the mood to tolerate any more bosses any time soon, I decided to push my hobby to the next level and make it a business. Slowly but surely it's starting to work and I'm loving the challenge.
You can do it!

What kind of security can you have in such big corporations when you have control over nothing that goes on? Most of the times you are at the mercy of other people's decisions and judgement.

Totally agree with Nat...go for it!
