Saturday was Cameron’s 3rd birthday party! We had a Dora the Explorer Adventure party with a treasure hunt and everything. She had such a great time and told me that night that she wants her birthday again. I feel like my job as Mommy that day was a success:). Here is the birthday girl (with paint already on her face). So much for the pretty birthday portrait!
Nothing like starting off your birthday party with some arts & crafts with your buddies.
And then moving on to water play…it was HOT in Chino Hills on Saturday.
So, it didn’t take long for everyone to get in the pool. Here is Keely & Sophie living it up.
Then we moved on to the Dora Treasure Hunt. They were off to find the Dora pinata filled with candy (they were excited). They all had their Dora backpacks and treasure maps in hand!

Here’s where the story gets good. Notice how happy Cameron is with all her friends and the cake.
Then everybody started to sing “Happy Birthday”. Seems innocent, right? Well this is where the meltdown began. Some might think we’re mean for capturing such a vulnerable moment on camera. I’d like to think of it as entertainment for the future.
Still crying.
And she’s just pissed…
Okay, whew. Everyone is done singing. She’s happy to move on to presents!
