I know my blog has not been updated in a while. I’ve been spending all my time working, getting proofs out, a million book designs, orders, emergency rush projects, and much more. And then add in me being a full-time mother, housekeeper, chef, etc. And then add that I actually need a social life with friends and working out and showering. Whew.
In the meantime – since I specifically had a friend ask if I should hire her to update my blog (you know who you are) – here is my daughter Cameron. She recently lost her 2nd big front tooth and now looks like a typical 6 year old / first grader. I love it. It’s much cuter than (a) a giant hillbilly tooth hanging sideways in the middle, and (b) those big ole awkward teeth that will start growing in. I took photos of every student in her class this morning for a surprise project and here is her portrait. If she looks different to you (besides the obvious missing teeth), she prefers to have her hair straightened for any photo day.

Oh a while ago I did a little half session for one of my favorite clients. Since they missed the holiday mini session, they really wanted updated photos of Lily. It’s been a while since I’ve photographed her. She is a riot! Full of personality and they knew it when she was literally walking at like 8 months or something crazy like that.

Showing some leg:)

And mommy Kim got in some photos too. Looove the tights!

Hooray! One of my images was selected for the Valentine’s issue of Tot Trends Weekly Magazine. This is my fourth cover and it still makes me giddy when the editor even considers one my images, let alone picks one! Here are Alexis and Ava from last year’s Valentine’s Day mini sessions. Aren’t they just adorable? And perfectly styled I must say. Mom has some seriously good taste.

I’d like to officially introduce Bentley Austin.
This is one loved little baby boy. This is my friend Tracy’s brand new nephew. He’s gorgeous with his light skin, light eyes and dark hair – and those forehead wrinkles – and his mouth. As of week #1, the parents said this is “really easy”. Ha ha ha. Just wait.

There was no reason for me to include this other than it’s funny.

This is cousin Stella. Aunt Andrea brought over her new bundle of joy and she gave some love.

This grandma has been waiting and begging forever for grandkids.

This blog will be caught up I swear! Linda has already had baby Oliva since this session was taken before Christmas. The Kim family has been a client of mine since Natalie was a few months old. Look how big she is now! Linda is so gorgeous and stylish and I love her to pieces. And this family is f.u.n.n.y.

The best part of belly photos is involving your kids.

Natalie was actually reaching up to pull her mommy’s shirt down in this one. She didn’t like all the attention the belly was getting:)

So Natalie decided to take a coffee break.

Love this one of Linda.

December and January are my favorite times of the year for trees. The yellow leaves before they fall are just so pretty.

This baby had me in love. Baby Elizabeth is 3 months old and one of the cutest, most perfect babies I’ve ever seen. Not to mention a perfect mix of her parents. When I arrived she was taking a nap so we didn’t know if she’d get all cranky on us for waking her, but she pulled through like a champ and was happy and adorable the entire time.

Emily was undressing her and couldn’t help stopping to play with her itty bitty feet. I don’t blame her really.

She has the most interesting color of eyes.

And little rolls on her tummy.
